WHAT WE DO

ROV Services

EMS provides ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) services to support offshore and subsea operations requiring targeted inspections, visual checks, monitoring activities and technical support.

Our ROV service is designed as a complementary support to our main offshore activities, providing clear visual data, video footage and technical information for reporting, evaluation and operational decision-making.

The ROV system can be mobilised on different types of surface units, from CTVs — Crew Transfer Vessels — to DP DSVs — Diving Support Vessels with Dynamic Positioning. It can also be installed and operated from jack-up platforms, providing visual assistance and technical support during offshore operations, including drilling-related activities. Depending on the project requirements, ROV systems can be used for subsea inspections and verifications in water depths of up to 1,500 metres. They can also be equipped with HD/4K cameras, lighting systems and compatible sensors, allowing the acquisition of accurate images and data in a safe and controlled manner. Each operation is carefully planned according to environmental conditions, operational limits, the available support unit or platform, and the applicable safety standards.

Our activities may include:

  • Subsea visual inspections

Examination of structures, specific points, and submerged elements of interest.

  • Video recording and documentation

Acquisition of footage and images for technical evaluation or project reporting.

  • Support during cable or pipeline operations

Targeted ROV presence for specific verification stages, when required.

  • Support from jack-up platforms

ROV assistance during offshore operations carried out from jack-up platforms, including drilling support activities.

  • Localised monitoring

Observation of selected areas, depending on conditions and client needs.

  • Preliminary underwater assessments

Visual checks to support planning activities, feasibility studies or further technical investigations.
